Sant'Antioco
The town of Sant'Antioco, besides being full of naturalistic beauties such as cliffs and beaches, offers several archaeological sites.
You find in town some of the most ancient Phoenician establisments in Sardinia (VIII cent. b.C.), subsequently became Roman centres and then Municipium known as Sulci.
There are many archaeological sites, such as the Phoenician Tophet, the Punic Necropolis and the Basilica connected to Catacombs. Some of these sites are located in town and some in the Island, where there are also Giant Tombs, several Nuraghi and many other beauties to discover.
San Pietro Island
San Pietro is reachable from the Port of Calasetta by ferry (the trip to the Island only takes half an hour).
The only town in San Pietro is Carloforte, a very nice place to visit.
The Island is smaller than Sant'Antioco but it is characterized by the same natural beauties such as crystal clean sea, white sandy beaches and suggestive cliffs.
Beaches are only reachable by car and there are many of them in the whole Island coast.
Le Colonne are the symbol of the Island, they are two stacks emerging from the sea, similar to Nido dei Passeri of Calasetta.
Porto Pino
Porto Pino is a small tourist place in the south-west coast of Sardinia. It is very popular in summer and it is one of the nicest places in south Sardinia. Its white sandy beach, 4 Km in length, is characterized by very famous white sandy dunes.

Santadi - "Is Zuddas" Caves
Is Zuddas Caves are among the most suggestive in Sardinia, thanks to its big stalagmites and stalactites.
The moun Meana, where they are located, is made up by rocks of 530 millions of years ago.

Close to Iglesias there is the great coast of Nebida and Masua, with their symbol, the rock of Pan di Zucchero, a white cliff emerging from the sea opposite the coast. This is one of the most fascinating places of south Sardinia.
Porto Flavia is a suggestive slit on the sheer rocks of Masua coast, realized in the twenties of last century as ore transport system. Today is possible to visit this area also with the help of skilled guides.
Arbus - The Piscinas Dunes
In the north of the village of Arbus lies the impressive sandy coast of Piscinas and its Dunes, among the biggest ones in Europe. They are part of the world heritage sites as declared by UNESCO.
The dunes go from the coast to the inland for about 2 Km reaching a maximum height of 100 metres and they are continuously reshaped by the west winds.
Cala Domestica
Cala Domestica, one of the most beautiful beaches of Sardinia, is 2 Km far from Buggerru.
This is a white sandy beach, sheltered by rocks in both sides that seem to embrace and to protect it. It was used as an ore loading port till 1940.
Chia
Chia, is an hamlet of the town Domus de Maria (Cagliari) in the south of Sardinia. It is a small tourist village on the coast, a very renowned place thanks to its crystal clear water, its wild atmosphere and its typical scents.
Pula
Located in the south of the Island, 29 Km far from Cagliari, this area is characterized by long white sandy beaches, small bays with rocks on both sides. Its crystal clear sea is like the colour of the sky. Its cultural heritage is another important feature.
